The Dell Alienware Area-51 R7 Threadripper Supports up to a 6 Drive Configuration. (Three 3.5" Drive Bays for SATA Hard Drives | Two 2.5" Drive Bays for SATA or U.2 Solid State Drives | One M.2 (2280) Slot for a Solid state Drive) Note: The maximum amount of 3.5"/ 2.5" SATA drives that can be installed is three, this is due to the total of four SATA connectors on the system board with one connector being used for the optical DVD drive. The six drive configuration would consist of three 3.5" SATA hard drives + Two 2.5" U.2 solid state drives + one M.2 2280 solid state drive. (Support for RAID 0/1/5/10)
