The Dell Precision-7770 Mobile Workstation Supports up to a Four Drive Configuration and is Available in Two Variants, Depending on the Battery Installed. (Variant 1 - Four M.2 (2280) or (2230) Drives with the Smaller 6-cell 93Whr Battery Installed) or (Variant 2 - Three M.2 (2280) or (2230) Drives with the Larger 6-cell 83Whr Battery Installed) Note: Models that have the larger 83Whr battery installed do not support the 4th M.2 drive in slot 2 due to the larger battery occupying the drive bays space. M.2 slot 5 supports 2280 and 2230 drives in the removable drive carrier | M.2 slot 2, 3 and 4 support 2280 drives only, not 2230 drives. M.2 slot 5 is under the removable door and M.2 slots 2, 3 and 4 are internal and require removing the base cover.
