The Dell Inspiron 14 5000 (5425) Laptop Supports Single Drive Configuration Only. (One M.2 NGFF (2280) or (2230) Solid State Drive) Note: The M.2 slot on the system board supports Generation 3.0 x4 NVMe Drives. If installing a Generation 4.0 x4 NVMe Drive, the drive will run at Generation 3.0 x4 speeds. The M.2 (2230) Drive uses a adapter bracket p/n 08K28J to accommodate for the larger M.2 (2280) slot.
