The Dell XPS 8930 Supports up to a 4 Drive Configuration. (Three 3.5" or 2.5" Drives + One M.2 (2280 or 2242) Solid State Drive) Note: If you are installing 2.5" drives in the internal 3.5" drive bays, the 2.5" drives require the Dell GW1T5 dual drive tray (installs in the 3.5" drive bracket) for installation. The M.2 slot supports 2280 and 2242 drives by moving the metal standoff screw mount to accommodate the form factor. If installing additional drives, a sata data cable p/n DS-DTSPCKIT is required for each additional drive. (The M.2 slot supports SATA / PCIe NVMe solid state drives)
