The Dell Pro 16 Max MC16255 Laptop Supports Single and Dual Drive Configurations. (Two M.2 (2280) or (2230) Solid State Drives) Note: Both M.2 slots support 2280 and 2230 drives when the WWAN card is not installed. On models with a WWAN card installed, the secondary M.2 slot (SSD1) does not support M.2 2280 drives, as the WWAN card occupies part of the slot. However, M.2 2230 drives are supported in this slot with the WWAN card present. The M.2 2230 drive uses a blue SSD holder to secure it to the system board. If installing a M.2 2280 drive, remove the 2230 SSD holder beforehand, if present.
