The Lenovo ThinkBook K4-IAP Laptop - (type 82W8) Supports Single and Dual Drive Configurations. (Two M.2 (2280) or (2242) Solid State Drives) Note: There are two M.2 slots on the system board and both slots support M.2 2280 and 2242 drives. M.2 slot-1 (SSD1) supports PCIe Gen4 speeds and slot-2 (SSD2) supports PCIe Gen3 speeds. When installing a M.2 Gen4 drive in slot-2 (SSD2), the drive will run at Gen3 speeds due to the system board limitations. The M.2 2242 drives use a extender bracket p/n 02DL954 to accommodate for the slots larger 2280 form factor.
