The Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G7+ ASP Laptop Supports Single and Dual Drive Configurations. (Two M.2 (2280) or (2242) Solid State Drives) Note: There are two M.2 slots on the system board and both slots support M.2 2280 and M.2 2242 drives. The M.2 2242 drives use a extender bracket p/n 81QG0002US to accommodate for the slots larger 2280 form factor. When installing a M.2 Gen5 drive, the drive will run at Gen4 speeds due to the system board limitations.
